WEBSITE LOGIN AND “COOKIES”

The company owns the information collected at several different points on our website. We do not sell, share, or rent to other parties for ways or purposes not disclosed in this statement. The company collects personal and non-personal information in order to provide you with our services, including access to the website’s newsletter, marketing and for advertising purposes. Below are the types of information we collect and their description.

Personal and demographic information. Details that can help us identify you may include name, address, telephone number, or email address.
Cookies. These are small text data that enable you to sign in to our services and allow us to enhance your online experience. Commonly stored on your hard disk drive, these are records of your preferences and other data on your computer so as to save time by eliminating the need of repeatedly providing the same information during later visits. They cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. The use of the cookie does not link to any identifiable personal information while on our site. You may reject their use but your experience may be limited in some areas of our site. Our business partners including advertisers may also use cookies on our site. We have no access or control over such cookies.
Log files. We collect IP addresses and technical request information to administer the site, evaluate trends and understand usage. API, MCP and CLI usage and support records can also be associated with your SV account, as explained below.

We may receive and collect personal information about you such as name, email address, behavior data etc. from third party sources given that they are authorized to share your information and we have the rights to use them.
EMAIL ACCESS

The company can access your email once you provide your credentials. By providing your credentials, you are consenting to give us access to your emails for the purpose of sending emails on your behalf and storing replies to those emails.

We only access emails from contacts that you have added in our system. The company ensures its employee do not have access to the content of the emails, and all emails are encrypted. The company only aggregates statistical data about usage.

You have the right to opt-out of sharing your information anytime. To opt-out of advertising campaigns, please email us at [email protected] with your registered email account. We will remove you from all remarketing campaigns within 30 days of confirmation.

We keep this information as long as you keep your account with us. Upon deletion of your account, your data will be completely erased from our servers within 90 days.

We use this information to be able to create your account and contact you properly.

SV API, MCP and CLI

This section explains how we handle information when you use the SV API, the SV MCP connector hosted at mcp.seovendor.co, or the locally installed SV MCP and SV CLI software. These tools access the SV API and are also covered by the account and privacy provisions in this policy.

Information we process and why

We process the inputs you submit, such as keywords, topics, website URLs, supplied text, brand information, language and other tool settings, to perform your requested tasks and return results. We also process account identifiers, usage information and technical information to authenticate access, manage points and billing, enforce request limits, provide support and troubleshoot errors. Successful chargeable calls deduct points; your points balance and transaction history are part of your SV account.

Our API usage records include the date and time, main tool inputs, caller IP address, account identifier and client type (API, CLI or MCP). For hosted MCP requests, the caller IP recorded by the API is normally our MCP server’s address. Direct API and CLI requests generally use the connecting user’s or network’s public IP address.

Support and debugging records include the tool and action, account and client type, success or failure, error details and duration. They can include the first 2,000 characters of a request summary after API-key fields are masked, and the first 8,000 characters of the response. These excerpts can contain text you supplied and generated results.

API usage and support logs are separate from saved account work. To request access to or deletion of information held by SV, see the Ownership of Data section below or contact [email protected].

We keep API usage and support records for approximately 90 days. A daily automated process deletes older records. Records of usage also identify the API key by a one-way hash rather than the key itself.

To enforce request limits, the API also keeps temporary records containing a hash of the API key and the time of the last call. Stale rate-limit records are eligible for cleanup after approximately one hour.

Hosted MCP sign-in and storage

Hosted SV MCP uses your SV account sign-in. Your MCP host, such as Claude or Cursor, receives a separate connector token rather than your SV API key. The MCP server uses account authorization to call the SV API on your behalf. It stores account authorization tokens encrypted and caches authentication results, including the API key used for API calls, in server memory for up to five minutes.

The MCP host and its connected AI model can receive tool descriptions, the inputs sent to tools and the results returned. The hosted MCP application passes tool inputs and results between the host and the SV API. It also saves task-tracking metadata, such as task identifiers, tool names and creation times. We retain operational and security logs, such as request metadata and error details; error logs may include submitted values. The API’s usage and support records described above still apply. Your chosen MCP host and AI provider handle information under their own privacy policies.

Saved tasks and audit results

Some tools also save work to your SV account. GEO Audit, Prose, SEO Strategist and SEO Mapping can save tasks and results, and Preliminary Audit can save results to your audit history. Saved work and account transactions are separate from operational API logs. See the Ownership of Data section for data export and account deletion requests, or contact [email protected] about deleting saved work.

Service providers

Depending on the tool you use, our backend sends relevant inputs, including keywords, URLs and supplied text, to AI model providers, search and SEO data providers, or page-fetching services to produce the requested results. We do not include your SV authentication credentials in the tool inputs sent to these providers. Information you include in a prompt, URL or document can itself contain personal information and may be processed by the provider serving that request.

Local CLI and MCP storage

Locally installed SV MCP uses the API key supplied through the SV_API_KEY environment variable. SV CLI can use that variable or a locally saved key. SV CLI stores saved keys and profile names in ~/.sv/config.json, asynchronous task identifiers and tracking details in ~/.sv/tasks.json, and a cache of public tool definitions in ~/.sv/cache/definitions.json. The definitions cache does not contain user data.

The CLI and local MCP do not add separate analytics telemetry. They identify the client as cli or mcp in API requests; the API logging described above still applies. Run sv auth clear to remove the key saved for the selected CLI profile; repeat for other profiles as needed, or delete ~/.sv to remove the CLI’s local configuration, task tracking and cache. Clear any separately configured environment variable as needed. Deleting local files does not delete server-side logs, saved tasks or account records.

Your choices and contact

You can remove the SV MCP connector from your MCP host to stop using it there. Removing a connector does not itself delete information already held by SV or the host. OWNERSHIP OF DATA

All data you entered in our platform belongs to you. You can request a complete export of your data anytime. Also, you can request a deletion of your account, that would entail a complete deletion of all your data within 3 (three) months.

COMMUNICATION

The company shares aggregated demographic information with partners and advertisers. This type of anonymous data is collected for purposes of studying a group or category of services or users. The information is not linked to any personal data that can be identified with any individual person.

We work with other parties to assist us and provide specific services and, during these instances, we share name and contact details that are necessary for service provision. Our partners are not allowed to use identifiable personal information in any way other than the purpose of providing our listed services. Non-personal and identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

We may release identifiable personal information in compliance with the law to enforce our site policies, or to protect our, your, and other’s rights, property, or safety.
SECURITY

In compliance with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, the company does not knowingly intend to collect information from individuals 13 years of age or younger.
YOUR RIGHT

The company maintains at all times administrative, technical, and physical safety measures to protect identifiable personal information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
