However, the responses are not deterministic, meaning that the same prompt could yield different answers across multiple iterations. This variability makes it difficult to rely on a single instance of output to make decisions. A ranking system helps solve this problem by:

  1. Record the internal probability GPT-4 assigns to each entity in each response.
