A Honest Review on Ryte.com: Is it the right choice for your website upkeep?

It’s hard not to fall in love with Ryte.com, the site has a charm from the outset that is only compounded by the incredibly thorough and valuable service they provide. The site is emblazoned with images of a superhero and this may be one of the rare cases that the marketing matches the product.

Ryte.com is an SEO expert, it looks at every aspect of your website and tells you precisely how to optimize it. Whilst it might not be as glamorous as saving damsels in distress, Ryte.com is definitely a superhero when it comes to SEO. What helps Ryte stand out above the competition is the detail it provides. Most every SEO software package and analysis will point out where your website is making a mistake and what parts need upkeep or maintenance to improve, some will even tell you how to do that, Ryte is one of the few that explains why. That may sound like a small thing but it’s huge, Ryte wants to teach you to be better, it wants to help you understand and genuinely improve. Other services either assume you’re too stupid to understand or deliberately want to keep you that way so they can keep selling you their services.

Ryte is an acronym for Reach Your Targets Efficiently; it’s the brand’s mission statement and a measure of the service. They position themselves as much as a mentor as they do a tool. That said the data and service they provide is second to none and it’s all browser-based, no need to download. Whilst they will provide detailed analysis on the tech side of the site and how you can improve, secure and update your website they also provide a service that looks at the content of the site helping you to create a stronger presence and building on your skills as a writer by teaching you what to make note of.

Did you ever hear of Superman charging the people he saved from that burning building? No? Me neither. This is the thing that most positions Ryte as an actual superhero. The basic service is completely free. You can head over to Ryte.com right now and start using it to manage and optimize your site at no charge at all. There are however a few restrictions as to just how much you can do and the premium service comes in at $119 a month. Whilst it’s not the most expensive on the market, it’s not the cheapest either, the quality of the product still makes this incredible value though.

All in all, Ryte.com is a product, brand, and service that genuinely seems to want to help the little man stand out on the internet. It can equip you with all the tools you need to make sure you’re doing everything to improve your ranking. For beginners or veterans alike there is a wealth of value to be taken from the free service and after you’ve seen what they can do the premium product is there to take you from super to godly.

  • Basic service is free of charge
  • Browser-based and incredibly easy to use
  • Thorough analysis with an in-depth explanation of why and how to improve your site

  • Whilst utterly charming Ryte.com might not be the most professional service to showcase to clients

The Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress.org uses an outside sourced company to index the browser content connection to Google Search Console. The WordPress Yoast SEO plugin program is connected to a company called Ryte.

My webpage was only days old and only consisted of minimum content. The free analysis failed to finish its task, leaving 50% of the analysis incomplete and claiming that the scan had reached the allowable limit for the free scan. The program made partial corrections to my webpage and said that the program can only provide (1) one free scan every month, leaving the browsing information incomplete for 30 days and impossible of deleting the unfinished project for a month.

The Google Search Console and Google Analytics for my webpage were broken and full of unfixable mistakes caused by the Ryte program. I made many complaints without receiving any support from the company’s website. I finally was told to sign up for a free one month trial period to get full access to correct and complete the original analysis on my website.

I found Ryte’s program useless and failed its claim and capabilities. I canceled my subscription before the free trial period ended. My wife informed me that this company continued to charge my card for three months. I informed my card company about unauthorized charges to my account.

The credit card company investigated and removed the charges and any further attempts to charge my card. I lately received mail by some assigned Collection Agency requesting full payment of the removed charge amount WITH INTEREST!
